Summer Happenings at UysFaber Inc!

Last Thursday, July 28^th, 2011, will go down as an important day in UysFaber history. It was the first ever UysFaber Board Meeting and the agenda was chock full of exciting developments and plans for the company’s future.

First, congratulations should be extended to Jaclyn Armstrong, who is now the Chief Creative Officer for UysFaber Inc. Already an established writer and world-builder for Totem Sacred, Lady J is the perfect fit for this position and we look forward to great things from her in the future.

Andrea Fort, a long-time comic fan and the future wife of James “Logan” Howlett, has graciously accepted the Volunteer Organiser position.  We are lucky to have her energy and fun personality on our team.

D.K. Kartigan, current artist of UysFaber’s HardWear series, has added another title to his resume. D.K. is now the Title Editor for HardWear. He also just completed a great Dark Avengers sketch cover for company head, Andrew Uys, which I have every intention of stealing at the earliest opportunity. I was also announced as the Title Editor for our Totem Sacred line and am looking forward to the new challenges this position will bring.

And the final piece of big news - Totem Sacred #1 is due to hit stores on Wednesday August 17^th! Lady J will be hosting a book launch and signing for Salt Road #1 at Paradise Comics on August 20^th. UysFaber artists Matthew Salonen , Rob Vellone and D.K. Kartigan will be in attendance as well. And stay tuned for more information about a special event happening on the same day at Paradise Comics. Here’s a hint: it’s called “Girl’s Day Out”!
