Life as a Writer: Day 187
This week I want to talk about childhood books, and which one’s make you happy? Which ones do you want to read over and over again? My childhood book is Avalon: Web of Magic by Rachel Roberts. I started reading them in Grade 5 with my four best friends, and the 10th book came out in while I was in Grade 7. After that we kind of forgot about the series... till this summer when my younger sister found the first three books and started reading them. That motivated me to go out and re-buy the rest of the series (they’d been given away by my parents).
What I had not realized is Rachel Roberts had written two more books in the series. I picked them up Friday and started reading them right away! I can't believe I ever stopped reading them. These are the books that made me want to write. This novel series are almost as good as Harry Potter to me (though Harry Potter is the series that got me reading, and thus have a very special place in my heart).

In other news my comic is coming out!!!!!! I got to see it, and it is such an amazing feeling when you realize that all your hard work is now something you can hold in your hands. You should pick one up; your mind will be blown away. I have also started writing issue six, which will make you see all characters in different light (even Shani) before Issue 10! I promise all my readers that you have plot twists that will make your brain hurt (in a good way though I promise). Well I am still on vacation so till Thursday at Paradise Comics, bye!!!
PS- I would really like to know what your fav childhood books are! So please leave comments below!
